my goal = no goal

I've heard that it helps to make a goal publicly. You have a better chance of sticking to it.

Seems to have the opposite effect on me. Haha. Now back to blogging. :)

brown and gray

Hello, again.

Here's an experiment in brown and gray. I was inspired by the 50s dress I wore the other day.

I like how it turned out.

Now that I'm feeling better (finally!), I want to start posting again on a regular basis.

So here's my goal: Post everyday for 21 days.

hat : banana republic, from years ago
white blouse : vintage, estate sale
vest : vintage, estate sale
pants : refuge, thrifted

They say it takes 21 days to create a habit. We'll see. :)

looking at the bright side

So bummed I missed out on my favorite holiday yesterday. Came down with a cold. :(



                          

 Which is not why I look so sad and pensive in these photos from last week.

I just have a hard time looking into camera without having a squinty face from the sun.

So there you have it. No cute costume. (I was trying to decide between a flapper, sailor, or cowgirl...)
