Over the next few days I'm going to play catch up. I have some outfit pics that didn't get posted over the busy holiday season. This one is from about a month ago.

I don't think my life has changed more in one month's time. A lot of new things coming up...

On another note, this is the first shirt I've owned that I need cuff links for.

looking at the bright side

So bummed I missed out on my favorite holiday yesterday. Came down with a cold. :(



                          

 Which is not why I look so sad and pensive in these photos from last week.

I just have a hard time looking into camera without having a squinty face from the sun.

So there you have it. No cute costume. (I was trying to decide between a flapper, sailor, or cowgirl...)

I can't say that I'll miss summer. It was record breaking.

I'm not about breaking records when it comes to heat.

(Props to my little photographer. I have a tripod now, so she is relieved of her duties. She does a great job, but she gets bored quick. :)

I love everything about this 50s cotton shirt, but I haven't been able to decide how to wear it and what to wear it with.

I tried this.

Not very blogworthy. So, a few tweaks later...

And voila. Much better. I love this tying the shirt at the waist thing I've seen people do, but I've been reluctant to try it. I try to spare people from my pregnancy stretch marks when I can. But why, oh why, haven't I discovered high waist pants sooner!?! Now I can show a little skin again. :)
